  • 1/4 teaspoon ranch seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste (about 1 teaspoon)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon (optional)
  • 1 jalapeño, finely sliced (optional)
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella or pepper jack cheese (optional)

For the Dough:

  • 1 (16 oz) can crescent roll dough
  • 1/4 cup melted butter (optional, for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
    • Preheat your oven to 400°F (190°C). Line a baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Cook the Filling:
    • In a large pan over medium heat, brown the ground beef and onion, stirring occasionally until the meat is fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
    • Stir in the ranch seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix the Cheese Filling:
    • In a large bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, cream cheese, and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well until fully combined.
  4. Prepare the Dough:
    • Unroll the crescent roll dough and cut it into squares or triangles.
    • Place about 1 tablespoon of the meat and cheese mixture in the center of each piece of dough. Fold and seal the edges to form tightly wrapped bundles.
  5. Bake:
    • If desired, brush the wrapped bites with melted butter for added flavor.
    • Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the dough is fully cooked and golden brown.
  6. Serve:
    • Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. Top with chopped parsley, if desired, and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
