They are already 13 years old. How fate unfolded and what the world’s first octagonals and their mother look like today

The most well-known example of octagonals who survived after birth will be celebrated thirteen years later on January 26, 2022. On January 26, 2009, six boys and two girls were born in the US by cesarean section. Without a father figure in her life, 34-year-old Nadia Suleman took on the additional responsibility of parenting fourteen children. She was already juggling six.

Even though Suleman's doctor transferred 12 embryos, all of her children were born via in vitro fertilization, and she now says that he deceived her.

Due to the doctor's license being revoked for unethical reasons, IVF in the US was subject to more scrutiny after Suleman's case.

With the moniker "Octomom" bestowed upon her, Nadia found herself the target of both adoration and criticism. She has attempted to monetize her children via reality TV and other ventures, but she insists that she loves them and did not have them for the sake of fame or fortune.

The Suleman family is not poor, but they do not enjoy a lavish lifestyle either. As a vegan and advocate for a healthy lifestyle, Nadia often posts images of her octagons on social media.

So far, it seems like the family is doing well despite all that has happ

ened.
